I’m very pleased with this little lock box. When I first opened it the lock was hanging up a little bit. I made a small adjustment and now it work great. Before I ordered it, I read reviews about the lock not working right but ordered it anyway—glad I did. If you know how to turn a screwdriver, you should be able to make this slight adjustment.

This safe works well and feels quite sturdy. If bolted down to a dresser or stud in a wall, this safe would offer a medium to high level of personal item protection! I use it for $8k worth of precious metals, a shotgun, .22lr, 9mm ammo, and a few important cards. Only “issue” is the width of the safe is about an inch smaller than stated to give the thick door room to close on the inside.

The safe meets our expectations. The only thing I can recommend is when you unlock the safe and are setting the code on the safe, have the safe facing you, not facing up, or the locking system will not work as well. Other than that, it works awesome.
